WRITING DELIGHT with Natalie Villacorta

In 2016, the poet Ross Gay decided to write an essay every day about something that delighted him: a praying mantis, a flight attendant calling him “baby,” the song “Stay” by Lisa Loeb. He discovered that “the more you study delight, the more delight there is to study.” That is, when we look for delight, we find it. In this workshop, we will read selections from Gay’s  The Book of Delights , go on a walk to look for own delights, and then write about what we encountered. The hope is that this practice will not just yield writing but also delight.

Tuition for the two-hour workshop is $30.00. Write On members receive a 10% discount. To become a member and save, please  click here.
