With a background in retail, education, and outdoor programming, she values the ability to connect nature, destinations, and the heart of communities. Holding a master’s degree in reading, she understands the power of storytelling and literacy in shaping experiences and deepening connections. Now, as part of Write On, she is excited to continue cultivating these connections through the power of writing.
Outside of her professional work, Tonya is passionate about volunteering in her community, supporting local initiatives that foster a love for the outdoors. When she’s not writing or hiking trails across the U.S., she loves discovering and sharing hidden gems close to home.
