Nature Writing

Zines are easy-to-make little magazines, usually around eight to sixteen pages long, that can address a variety of topics from the personal to the political. They can also include poetry, collages, prose, and drawings; the main goal is simply to create, explore, and enjoy the process of making an object that can be freely shared among friends. The theme for this particular workshop is nature --broadly conceived. Participants will be guided through various creative writing exercises to explore the sensory experiences of nature, place, and the more-than-human world prior to creating a zine (or several!) that they can gift to others or keep for themselves.

Class meets in person Saturday, January 23,  10 am - noon.
