Join us for story time with V.T. Bidania. She will share stories from her  Astrid and Apollo  series, a chapter book starring eight-year-old Hmong American twins Astrid and Apollo Lee. Refreshments will be served.

V.T. Bidania is the author of the  Astrid and Apollo  series and the forthcoming  A Year Without a Home. The latter is a fictionalized memoir of her family's escape from Laos and their year in a refugee camp and will be published in 2026. Bidania was born in Laos and grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, where her family resettled as refugees after the Vietnam War. She has an MFA in creative writing from The New School and is a McKnight Writing Fellow. She lives outside of the Twin Cities with her family.
