Youth Classes & Workshops

MORNING SESSIONS (9 am - NOON): FOR WRITERS GOING INTO 6TH – 8TH GRADES IN FALL

 

Join us for a week filled with fun and interactive sessions. We'll exlpore all the ways writers use to make their words more meaningful to readers. You'll create stories and poems inspired by the woods and fields of Write On, as well as your own imagination. By the end of the week, you and your classmates will leave with a literary magazine YOU created!

KIDS WOW Teaching Artists:  Erica Ringelspaugh and Jill Stukenberg teach together at UW-Stevens Point, where they collaborate on courses such as "Reading Fiction" "Introduction to Creative Writing," and "Intermediate Composition." Ringelspaugh writes creative nonfiction and specializes in training pre-service middle and high school ELA teachers. Stukenberg grew up in Sturgeon Bay and writes fiction and is co-editor of  Midwest Review

Class meets Monday – Friday, July 7 - 11,  9 am - noon.

Class size:  Minimum 5, maximum 14.
