Gather around and read poems together! Mark off words and phrases on a Bingo board! Poet Rebekah Hewitt will share poems by such poets as Shel Silverstein, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Langston Hughes, then guide you through the process of creating your own poems! 

For kids in grades 3 - 5 and their adults.

Rebekah Denison Hewitt holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was a Martha Meier Renk Distinguished Graduate Fellow. Her work has appeared in Narrative, The Rumpus, and Poetry Northwest and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize as well as Best of the Net. Her manuscript was a finalist in the 2022 National Poetry Series. She is an assistant editor at Orison Books. She lives in Wisconsin with her family and works as a librarian.
