As both a poet and editor of a well-known poetry journal and press, Hayley Haugen will offer tips on getting printed in both online and print small press magazines. She will offer advice on what to do and what not to do from both the poet's and the editor's perspective.
Class meets in person Wednesday, May 11 6:00 - 8:00 pm Central Time

Teaching Artist: Hayley Mitchell Haugen holds a Ph.D. in 20th century American literature from Ohio University and an MFA in poetry from the University of Washington. She is currently Professor of English at Ohio University Southern, where she teaches courses in composition, American literature, and creative writing. Her poems have appeared in Rattle , Chiron Review , Verse Virtual , and many other journals. In addition to her full-length collection Light & Shadow, Shadow & Light , she has published two chapbooks. She edits Sheila-Na-Gig online and Sheila-Na-Gig Editions.
