Join us for a happy hour reading with our writers-in-residence Hayley Mitchell, Donna Hilbert, and Tamara Madison. Light refreshments will be served. 

This program is presented free. Registration is required as seating is limited. 

Hayley Mitchell Haugen  holds a PhD in 20th century American literature from Ohio University and an MFA in poetry from the University of Washington. She is currently Professor of English at Ohio University Southern, where she teaches courses in composition, American literature, and creative writing. Her poems have appeared in  RattleChiron ReviewVerse-Virtual , and many other journals, In addition to her full-length collection  Light & Shadow, Shadow & Light , she has published two chapbooks. She edits  Sheila-Na-Gig  online and Sheila-Na-Gig Editions.

Donna Hilbert's latest book is  Threnody , from Moon Tide Press. Earlier books include  Gravity: New & Selected Poems  (Tebot Bach, 2018). She is a monthly contributing writer to the on-line journal  Verse-Virtual. Her work has appeared in  The Los Angeles TimesBraided WayChiron ReviewSheila-Na-Gig , and numerous anthologies. She writes and leads private workshops in Southern California.

Tamara Madison  is a native of the California desert. She is the author of four poetry collections and has been widely published in literary journals and has had her poems read on the Writer's Almanac and Lyric Life. A retired teacher of English and French, Tamara has traveled widely and is a swimmer, dancer, and dog lover.
